Our 2016 Grenache, is another of many highlights to the Rivahil assemblage. With its translucent, violet-ruby hue, vanilla & raspberry aromas, it truly intrigues ones senses. When tasting your welcomed with roasted plum, clove & hints black pepper.
With essence of dark plum, blackberry, toasted almonds, sage, and black pepper; along with its smooth and supple texture. Our Black Oak Syrah would make the perfect companion to your evening meal. We suggest pairing it with grilled meats, vegetables, and even wild game!
This is such a nicely balanced Rosé with soft rose petal on the bouquet. The fruit is from the same wonderful Foxen Canyon vineyard as our previous Rosé. Breakout the BBQ, this is great with a Triple Cream Goat Cheese, Turkey Burgers and grilled vegetables.
Hints of dried cherries, cinnamon, as well as anise can be experienced on the nose of our 2016 Syrah "SBC". On the palate we have light structure with dark fruits such as, fig and pomegranate. Aged 75% 2nd year French oak, 25% New French oak for 26 months.
With elegance and ambiance, our 2017 Mourvedre Rosé fills our senses with floral notes, such as rose petals and gardenia; Chased by hints of apricot, grapefruit, and guava on the palate. We have fresh acidity for a delicious lingering mouth-feel. Pair it with salmon, sushi, or a light salad.
“Aligerum” is Latin for “Having Wings”. This blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah, Mourvedre has blackberry, oak forest floor along with red plum and some floral notes. Tasty stuff and my favorite surprise blend of the vintage!
