L’anse is our blend of four Rhône white varietals: 40% Grenache Blanc, 40% Viognier, 15% Roussanne, and 5% Marsanne. We’re really pleased with how this blend came together. It has such a balanced feel on the tongue, with notes of apricot, citrus, and honey on the palate. A beautiful wine, nicely structured, with just a little oak from the Viognier, which was fermented in a 100% new oak barrel from France.

Soft notes of honey, peaches and almonds come forward in this wine. There is also hint of citrus. The juice was fermented and held in a combination of 2nd year french oak barrels and stainless steel barrels. The oak exists on the wine; but has a softer presence because of the barrel program used for it.

This Viognier has a very nice floral character to it, almost like a soft, subdued white lily. This is a blend from a cooler Santa Maria vineyard and a warmer Foxen Canyon vineyard. The fruit from the two vineyards pairs together quite nicely, with one being a little more acidic, and the other, riper and lusher. Combining the two creates a nice balanced structure in this wine.

This is blended from two different vineyards. One is a small 20 acre vineyard in Ballard Canyon and the other is from Foxen Canyon. The combination provides a blend between a lusher fruit from one vineyard with the minerality from the other vineyard. It has slight honey notes with a hint of nectarine combined with the fresh cut apple qualities often associated with a Grenache Blanc.
